निगम पुनि ऐसे पाप ते, भिस्त गया ना कोय।
परमात्मा कबीर जी कहते हैं कि जीव हिंसा करने से पाप ही लगता है। ऐसा महापाप करके भिस्त (स्वर्ग) कोई नहीं गया। तो फिर हे भोले मानव फिर ऐसा महापाप क्यों करता है।

कबीर-बकरी पाती खात है, ताकी काढी खाल। जो बकरी को खात है, तिनका कौन हवाल ।।
बकरी जो आपने मार डाली वह तो घास-फूंस, पत्ते आदि खाकर पेट भर रही थी। इस काल लोक में ऐसे शाकाहारी पशु की भी हत्या हो गई तो जो बकरी का माँस खाते हैं उनका तो अधिक बुरा हाल होगा।
